- For the original version, see: Wendy Christensen
After saving Kevin Fischer from an exploding barbeque grill, they almost manage to escape, but Ian McKinley arrives at the Tricentennial and blames Wendy for Erin Ulmer's death. Wendy falsely believes that Ian will cause her death, which he also comes to realize. During the standoff, a large container filled with fireworks go off in their direction, but they duck, and they hit the cherry picker behind Ian instead. As Ian shouts that Death cannot kill him, the cherry picker suddenly collapses and completely crushes him into a pulp as Wendy, Julie, and Kevin watch in horror.

Julie, Kevin and Wendy help each other as they head to the ambulance.
Wendy picks up her dropped camera, and after Julie says she didn't take any more pictures, Wendy smashes the camera on the ground. She then stomps on it, saying to forget it since its broken. Kevin calmly confirms that everything is under control. Then, all three slowly proceed to safety, with Julie and Wendy carrying an injured Kevin. As police sirens are heard in the distance, the camera lets out one last flash, ending the film.
