Actual movie[]
A dead Trevor lying next to Clear's body.
In Eugene's hospital room, two oxygen tanks start leaking after the air vents in the room close. Eugene's life support machine then starts to roll across the room, pulling its plug nearly out of the socket. When Clear opens the door, it knocks the plug out of the socket. The socket creates a spark. Since the room is full of oxygen, an explosion is created, incinerating Eugene and Clear, as well as Trevor, who is not seen but presumably standing nearby.

Trivia[]
- In the final cut of Final Destination 2, Trevor can only be seen lying dead next to Clear's body, but his visible body in the movie has been considered as a production error for years, because his character or his death have been treated as non-canon, since his storyline involved with the setting up of the explosion has been changed, and this abandoned storyline is only featured in deleted scenes and the novelization. However, a newspaper article shown in Final Destination Bloodlines confirmed his death in the explosion, thus making his character canon, and the visible dead body is no longer a production error.
