South Hill Metroline is a Los Angeles subway from the novel Final Destination: Destination Zero and the site of a bombing on a Tuesday, February 14, 2005.
Bombing
Hunted by the authorities and the organizations they were once affiliated with, terrorists Sean Reilly, Leon Khalid, and Dan Hoffman somehow come into contact and band together, acquiring parts needed to construct a bomb from various sources. The trio plans on detonating the bomb on the South Hill Metroline, making the attack look like it was caused by Al-Qaeda by sending a videotape to the FBI with several demands on it (though only one, a ransom of several million dollars, was actually real). Managing to get the bomb on the subway, the terrorists use a short-range remote to activate it, the subsequent explosion completely wrecking the train and partially destroying the platform.
