Shaina is a character in the film Final Destination 2. She is Kimberly Corman's closest friend and a casualty of the Route 23 pile-up.

Biography

Shaina attends college with her best friend Kimberly and friends Dano and Frankie, and was going to spend her spring break with her friends in Daytona Beach, Florida. She cares about Kimberly and keeps an eye on her.

Final Destination 2

Shaina and Kimberly ready for vacation.

Shaina meets with Kimberly in the morning at her father's house and gets into her SUV, tossing her suitcase inside. They later pick up Frankie and Dano and head towards Route 23, heading for Daytona Beach. Before she enters the highway, Kimberly has a premonition of a pile-up that kills everyone on the road.

Shaina is the first casualty of Route 23 to die, along with Dano and Frankie.

Death

After witnessing the crash, Kimberly begins to freak out once she sees all the signs she saw in her dream. Shaina tries to calm Kimberly down, but she continues freaking out and ranting about the fiery crash. She and her friends urge Kimberly to move forward, but after driving a few feet, she stops her SUV in the middle of the on-ramp, holding up traffic. When the crash occurs, just like she predicted, her friends begin to freak out.

Shaina fearfully asks what's going on, and Kimberly sees a sign foreshadowing her death. After staring at the carnage, they hear a loud horn blaring and see a large truck (the same one from Kimberly's dream) heading towards them. The truck plows into the SUV, instantly killing Shaina, Dano, and Frankie.

• When Kimberly says she wants to stop and check the motor, Shaina assures her that the car is going to be fine.
• During the opening credits, there's a journal that says ROAD TRIP. However, a set of keys covers the T, spelling ROAD RIP.
