The Scaffolder is a character in the film The Final Destination. He is a scaffolder who talks to Nick O'Bannon towards the end of the movie.
The Final Destination
Nick informs him that the scaffolding wasn't screwed down, acting out of goodwill and concern for the scaffolder. Although the scaffolder agreed with Nick and promised to inform his co-workers of the mistake, it was too late for Nick, Lori Milligan, and Janet Cunningham, who were killed by a truck that swerved to avoid the fallen scaffolding. Whether he was killed or not when the scaffolding falls is unknown; however, he most likely lived.

- ↑ There is a dispute on where the events of The Final Destination took place. Since the movie did not reveal the exact setting, some believed it is McKinley, Pennsylvania, the same city where Final Destination 3 took place, as the racetrack is named McKinley Speedway, while the reversed draft included a line from the anchorwoman calling the racetrack accident the "Indianapolis Crash". Though this Indianapolis reference was cut from the movie, another line from the anchorwoman that made it to the movie did mention Carter Daniels was "a member of the local PTA and NRA chapter" who lived in Fort Wayne, suggesting it is Indiana.
