Richard Sanchez is a character in the film Final Destination 5. He is an employee of Presage Paper and a casualty of the North Bay Bridge collapse.

Death

Richard was among the employees chosen for a corporate retreat at 180 Corporate Consulting. However, as the bus was crossing the North Bay Bridge en route, an employee named Sam Lawton has a premonition of the bridge collapsing and panics, telling his co-workers the bridge is going to collapse and they all have to get off, dragging Molly Harper as he rushes to get off the bridge. Richard was one of the employees who was still sitting on the bus when the bridge began collapsing and falls to his death when the bridge fully collapses.

Sometime later, Presage Paper held a memorial service for the employees killed in the collapse. Richard was among those who were memorialized.

Trivia

  • His name was mistakenly listed as "Robert Sanchez" in the funeral board, and the real Robert was mistakenly listed as "Richard Johnson".
