| Sir? Move your Feet.
|
Movie Goer With Feet on Seat or Guy With Shoes on Seat is a character in the film The Final Destination. He is a theatergoer who sits a row below Lori Milligan and Janet Cunningham while they were watching Love Lays Dying at Tagert Theatres. He is called out by a security guard who tells him to get his shoes off the seat in front of him; all of this is noticed by Lori, and is nearly the same circumstance that happened with Carter Daniels and George Lanter at the start of the movie at the McKinley Speedway Megatech 300 Memorial Race before the disaster.
It is unknown if the man dies in the premonition of the mall explosion, but he's seen dazed with blood on the right side of his face while Lori and Nick O'Bannon watch Janet slowly die. If he did die in the premonition, then he would be saved by Nick preventing the explosion and thus be on Death's list.
Signs/Clues[]
- When Nick is driving to the mall, a bus can be seen with an advertising poster for the movie "Love Lays Dying" on the front of it (When Nick sees this poster, it prompts his vision of the mall explosion). The bus number is 235, but the poster is halfway covering the 5, revealing the number 23. This is possibly referencing Route 23 from Final Destination 2.
- The viewing in which the explosion occurred was in Theatre 13 at 6:00. In 24-hour time, 6:00 equals 18:00.
- Lori notices several signs while watching Love Lays Dying, including:
- Two people who yell, "Down in front, asshole!" and "Sir, move your feet."
- An advertisement for a movie called "Coming Soon!: 'Til Death Do We Part" on her popcorn container.
- A man sitting behind them whose phone sounds with the ringtone version of a Confederate folk song.
- Several quotes from the movie indicate that a disaster is about to occur, such as "Be careful!", "Hold on, Pumpkin. We'll be there in no time.", "It's gonna get loud," "We'll never make it!", "It's gonna blow! Move it!", and "Bye bye, suckers!"
- In the 1st premonition before the theatre explosion, Janet said she was meant to see this movie.
References[]
- ↑ There is a dispute on where the events of The Final Destination took place. Since the movie did not reveal the exact setting, some believed it is McKinley, Pennsylvania, the same city where Final Destination 3 took place, as the racetrack is named McKinley Speedway, while the reversed draft included a line from the anchorwoman calling the racetrack accident the "Indianapolis Crash". Though this Indianapolis reference was cut from the movie, another line from the anchorwoman that made it to the movie did mention Carter Daniels was "a member of the local PTA and NRA chapter" who lived in Fort Wayne, suggesting it is Indiana.
