Number Four Mornington Crescent is the street address of a house owned by Madame Adrienne. It is the site of a gas explosion that occurred on October 13, 1888.
Disaster
As construction workers are working underneath a tunnel located directly underneath Adrienne's house, they take a break and leave the construction equipment unattended. The gas from the tools begins to rise through the ground and into Adrienne's house. Because the boiler is on, the gas ignites and a catastrophic explosion occurs, incinerating all of the occupants inside almost instantly.
