Iris Campbell is the overarching protagonist in Final Destination: Bloodlines. She is a visionary of the Skyview restaurant collapse that was meant to happen in 1968. Due to cheating Death by preventing the entire incident from occurring, she sets off a series of bizarre accidents caused by Death's new designs targeting her family, as her family was never supposed to exist.
Biography[]
Iris was born in 1945. When she was 23, on May 17, 1968, Iris and her husband Paul attended the opening of a Skyview restaurant. Receiving a vision of the restaurant collapsing, she managed to prevent the disaster, in turn saves all of the survivors and causes a bunch of family bloodlines that were never meant to exist to be created.
As she got older, Iris started to learn about Death's design, making a book about it and all of the possible ways for Death to kill someone. She would later give this book to her granddaughter, Stefani Reyes, in the hopes she could beat Death's plans.

To prove to Stefani that Death is after their family, Iris steps out of her fortified home and allows for Death to finally claim her. She tells Stefani to step back before the weather vane from the roof is launched towards Iris. It impales Iris through the back of her head and outwards through her mouth, which covers Stefani's face in Iris's blood.

- Iris notices the wind blowing through some windchimes.
- Iris, the film's visionary, shares a name with one of the structures of the human eye – the organ that gives someone sight (or vision).
- Iris dies in a similar manner from her premonition where she fell from the tower into a broken rebar, which impaled her through her mouth.

- Iris Campbell is currently the oldest known visionary in the entire franchise.
- She is also the first visionary in the Final Destination franchise who is not a protagonist.
- Iris' surname, Campbell, may be a reference to actor Bruce Campbell, star of the Evil Dead series. It could also be a reference to actress Neve Campbell, who stars in the Scream series.
- Iris is similar to Juliet Collins from Destination Zero as both characters are ancestors of the protagonists & visionaries that foresaw the accidents that led them to cheat Death. While Iris foresaw the tower collapse in Bloodlines, Juliet foresaw a gas explosion on Mornington Crescent. They are also similar due to having descendants who were targeted by Death. For Juliet, it was her great-great-grandchild Patricia Fuller who was targeted after Patricia cheated Death after having a premonition of a subway bombing. For Iris, it was her children and grandchildren who were being targeted alongside her, as they were a bloodline that was never meant to exist.
- Her death is eerily similar to Andy Kewzer's premonition death in The Final Destination, as both died with something that impaled in their mouths.
