After losing his wife Cynthia during the crash at McKinley Speedway, Carter Daniels drank a can of Hice Pale Ale before attempting to burn a cross on the lawn of George Lanter. However, the pack ends up landing on his tow truck's gearbox, shifting the gearbox into drive and tipping over a canister of gasoline on the back of the truck. The chain reaction resulted in Carter's demise after his tow truck exploded.

After the North Bay Bridge collapsed, survivors Sam Lawton, Nathan Sears, Peter Friedkin, Olivia Castle, and Molly Happer drink Hice Pale Ale, which Nathan stole out of the back of Roy's truck. Later, there was a neon sign for Hice Pale Ale at Cocktails, the bar where Nathan meets his demise.

Howard Campbell worked as a PR specialist for Hice Pale Ale and wore a Hice Pale Ale t-shirt when Stefani Reyes visited him. Later, during the barbecue party, Howard is drinking a bottle of Hice Pale Ale, which his wife Brenda accidently knocked off from the outdoor fireplace, causing it hits and turns on the hose, eventually causing Howard's death when his face is shredded by a lawnmower.

- This fictional beer's name (Hice) comes from the stunt coordinator Freddie Hice who did the stunt work for Final Destination.
