Erin Ulmer is a character in the film Final Destination 3. She is a school goth and the girlfriend of Ian McKinley and a survivor of the Devil's Flight derailment.
Depending on what series of events that can be chosen in Choose Their Fate, Erin can be either the fourth or fifth survivor of Devil's Flight to die.
Final Destination 3: Choose Their Fate[]
Before Wendy Christensen and Kevin Fischer arrive to Build it to warn her and Ian about Death coming after them, Ian decides to mess with some pigeons that were in the store. He misses when shooting them with a nail gun, which only causes the pigeons to fly away to find a safer spot. Minutes later, Wendy and Kevin visit Ian and Erin at the hardware store to warn them that Death is still after them, and they are next on Death's list, but Ian and Erin are extremely skeptical and continue to mock them.

Erin was shot repeatedly in the head by a nail gun.
As they talk, Ian accidentally causes a box to fall off a shelf and onto a forklift's gear shift. Unbeknownst to them, the forklift slowly begins to follow them throughout the store and impales a large shelf. A hammer falls off the shelf and hits the controls, causing the forklift to raise the shelf. It slowly begins to rise into the air and presses against a set of ladders. After much force the ladders finally snap, knocking down several planks of wood.

Wendy pushes Ian out of the way at the last second. Soon after, all of the other items on the shelf begin to fall as well, and a wooden board lands on top of the end of a plank. The plank is sent flying through the air and crashes into the shelf that the pigeons from earlier are on. The pigeons are scared away and fly up to Erin's face, causing her to stumble back against a nail gun that Ian had left on a set of boxes, and it activates, rapidly discharging twelve nails into her head and hand. She dies from massive internal brain hemorrhaging and bleeding, gasping her last breath as Ian screams in sadness & horror. The pigeon that Ian left alive pecks at the photo of Erin and Ian.

- This character is a variation of Erin Ulmer.
- She's featured in the alternate scene that can be accessed by choosing to make Ian not kill the pigeon that he would have killed in the canon version of the film when the movie gives you the option to.
- To the nature of Choose Their Fate having alternate scenes that play out differently to the theatrical film, this character is non-canon to the main Final Destination universe.
