| "She has perverted a simple God-given pleasure into wanton lust, inflaming all those who follow her examples with associations of carnal desires. The simple act of taking sustenance is twisted into an orgy of temptation. I shall protect those who are less strong by claiming the taste of the temptress"

Dominique Swann is a character in the novel Final Destination: Death of the Senses. The representative of taste, she is a snobbish celebrity chef and food critic.
Two days after the death of "John Doe", a police officer named Amy Tom tracks Dominique down at a book signing at a bookstore. After Amy fails to convince her that her life is in danger, Dominique has Amy removed from the bookstore. Later on, that same day, Dominique is dining at the L'Opera restaurant when a man named Jack Curtis introduces himself to her, telling her she is on a death list. Unfortunately, she recognizes Amy, forcing Jack, televangelist Katie Astin, and music producer Joshua Cornell III to launch an unsuccessful attempt to convince her.
Dominique is the third survivor of John Doe's murder spree to die.
Death
Still not believing them, Dominique has Amy and Jack removed from the restaurant. Seconds before they leave, she chokes on nutmeg but is saved by Amy as a lit oil lamp falls from the table. Unfortunately, the nut is launched into a wine bottle, causing it to fall over and spill. Eventually, the spill reaches the lit oil lamp near Dominique. Fortunately, Jack notices and manages to move her out of the path of the fire. But the fire spreads back to the wine bottle, causing it to explode and sending glass shards flying. Still gasping for air, a shard is launched into Dominique's mouth, shredding her mouth and severing a piece of her tongue. Unable to breathe, Dominique stares at Jack in horror before falling and dying.
Signs
- In Jack's premonition, Dominique would have had her tongue severed.
- After encountering John Doe, Jack looks inside a bookstore and sees Dominique in a book. In the same book, she is seen about to eat a cream-covered strawberry.
- While mocking the group, Dominique uses examples of items inside the restaurant that would kill her. One of these items was the oil lamp.
- While trying to convince Dominique, Jack notices a reflection of a fire in the chandelier above them.
- Dominique nearly died twice. She nearly choked to death on nutmeg and was nearly set on fire.
